Nord Forwarding is headquartered in Belgium and arranges ocean, air and road freight worldwide. The people here spent fifteen to twenty years each inside major international forwarders before building this one.

Seniority is the service.
Freight forwarding is not complicated to describe and difficult to do well. The difference between a shipment that arrives as planned and one that sits on a quay comes down to who prepared it and whether they had seen that situation before.
Nord was set up so that experienced forwarders could handle files directly rather than supervise a layer of junior staff. Each desk is led by a specialist who has spent the greater part of their career on that cargo type, at forwarders operating at international scale.
We are deliberately not a marketplace or a platform. We are a forwarder. The technology we run in the background is there to make experienced people faster, not to replace them.

One person owns the file
The specialist who quotes your shipment books it, documents it and answers for it. Nothing is handed to a shared inbox.
Say it before it becomes a problem
If the transit will not meet the deadline, if the packing will not survive the voyage, if the Incoterm leaves you exposed, we raise it at quotation stage.
Documentation first
Most freight problems are paperwork problems. We prepare document sets to the standard the destination authority, bank or receiver actually applies.
Carrier relationships that hold
Working relationships built over long careers mean space, equipment and escalation when the market is tight.
